About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated team player to provide essential support to our sales and marketing efforts. We are looking for a creative and energetic self-starter who is driven to understand our business, help deliver results, and is interested in developing into a strong sales and marketing professional. The ideal candidate should have experience in Business Development and Social Media Marketing and is passionate about Gaming. Minimum of three years of relatable working experience is required. This role is based in Toronto, Ontario, with 3-4 days per week in the office.
Responsibilities:
Sales Support:
- Assist the sales team in maintaining client databases, updating contact information, and preparing sales performance reports.
- Support the sales team in identifying and researching potential new clients, partners, and markets.
- Engage brands through our social channels to generate business development meetings.
- Assist in developing and implementing outreach strategies and campaigns to engage prospective clients and partners.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify industry trends, competitive landscape, and potential growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with the sales team to prepare and distribute sales materials, presentations, and proposals.
Marketing Support:
- Support the marketing team in content ideation and creation for various marketing channels, including social media platforms, primarily TikTok,
- Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, Threads, Twitch and Kick.
- Contribute to social media posting and scheduling, ensuring consistent brand voice and engaging content.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative and compelling social media campaigns that align with our brand and target audience.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and competitors’ marketing activities to identify opportunities and best practices.
- Assist Customer Success team with ongoing client campaigns.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Passion for gaming and a solid understanding of the gaming industry, including current trends and market dynamics.
- Expertise in utilizing TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, Threads, Twitch and Kick.
- Previous experience using Salesforce or similar CRM software is ideal.
- Advanced skills in creating presentations (PowerPoint/Slides) and working with spreadsheets (Excel/Sheets).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate ideas and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Creative thinking and ability to contribute innovative ideas for content creation and social media campaigns.
- Proficient in social media management and scheduling tools.
- Basic knowledge of marketing principles and strategies.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, evolving environment and embrace new technologies and platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree – Business or Communications focus preferred.
