The PS Plus Game Releases For June Have Leaked
Getting free games is always a plus.
June's PS Plus games have been leaked online by Spanish website Areajugones. They claim the new releases will be God of War (2018), Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Strikers, and Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl. They expect the games to be announced on June 7th.
God of War was released in 2018 to critical acclaim, getting a 96% review score on Metacritic at launch. With the sequel on track to release this year, Sony could be giving this game away to broaden its audience and build hype for Ragnarok. Some fans are expecting to get a release date at Sony’s State of Play onJune 2nd - or at some point during the summer game fest that will start June 9th.
The God of War addition only really benefits PS4 players since the game is already part of the PS 5 PS plus games that you can play for free with a subscription. So to the few people who own a PS4 and haven't played God of War, it looks like you'll finally be able to add it to your library.
The other two games coming, Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Strikers and Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl are two decent picks for subscribers. Both are pretty similar since they're fighting games that had a decent following at launch and eventually dwindled down. Hopefully their addition to PS Plus will give both games some new players. Naruto is a more traditional fighting game and All-Star Brawl is more akin to Super Smash Bros.
