Four Syphon Filter Games Have Received Ratings for the PS4 and PS5

"Syphon Filter" is a classic third-person shooter developed by Bend Studios. The game was made available on the PlayStation One in 1999 and required players to engage in a series of stealth-action set pieces and puzzle-solving. If you've been missing out on playing the game ever since your mom sold your old PS1, you're in luck, as it seems the game, along with three of its sequels, will soon be made available on the PlayStation Plus Premium tier.
Ready, Aim, Fire!
Gematsu reported on how the Game Rating and Administration Committee of Korea has officially given ratings for "Syphon Filter," "Syphon Filter 2," "Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror," and "Syphon Filter: Logan's Shadow" for the PS4 and PS5. Two games in the series — "Syphon Filter 3" and "Syphon Filter: The Omega Strain" — did not receive ratings.

While it's not an official confirmation, it does suggest the games will be made available to play on the PlayStation Plus Premium tier, which is set to come out in June. This level will provide gamers with a vast catalog of "beloved classic games" from the PS1, PS2, and PSP eras.

Starting in June, PlayStation will offer three tiers for its online subscription service, each of which will provide an array of free monthly games, discounts, and online multiplayer features.

The first level, PS Plus Essentials, will cost $60 for the year. PS Plus Extra will provide players with everything they'd get out of Essentials plus a library of 400 to 500 downloadable PS4 and PS5 games. It will cost $100 for a year.

Finally, there's PS Plus Premium, which comes with the above but adds an extra 340 games, including PS3 titles made available via cloud streaming. It will also provide gamers with time-limited game trials. It's the most expensive of the bunch and will set you back $120 for a year.

Will you sign up for a PS Plus plan once all these games are available? Will the "Syphon Filter" series be on your docket?
