Rockstar Is Fully Aware That GTA 6 Needs To Be Amazing
Gamers have waited a long time ...
Earlier this year, Rockstar finally confirmed that development was well underway on the next installment of the Grand Theft Auto series. It's been almost 10 years since GTA 5 came out on PS3 and Xbox 360. That game's been moved over to newer consoles, but no doubt fans want to see more GTA sooner rather than later. Now, Rockstar has acknowledged calls for more news on GTA 6 from fans, and there are exciting things to come from the forthcoming title.
Rockstar Wants To Ensure GTA 6 Is Perfect
Rockstar recently came out with a new post concerning Red Dead Online updates. Through this, the company reiterated its plans for a new GTA game, and it sounds like it wants to make sure everything's good to go before offering any substantial updates.
The post read, "Over the past few years, we have been steadily moving more development resources towards the next entry in the Grand Theft Auto series — understanding more than ever the need to exceed players’ expectations and for this next entry to be the best it can possibly be."
Sadly, the post doesn't offer anything in terms of when we can expect the new game to drop, but details on that may be found elsewhere. Rockstar's parent Take-Two released financial guidance in January that may have alluded to plans to come out with GTA 6 by March 2024, based on one analyst.
On top of that, earlier this week saw a Rockstar insider who's accurately leaked information in the past claimed that remasters for Red Dead Redemption and GTA IV were being put on hold so that the company could focus more on projects like GTA 6. Hopefully, that means the game comes out even sooner, but for now, fans will have to just hold out hope Rockstar knows what it's doing.
We've waited this long. What's a little longer?
