First Teaser Trailer For Mario Movie Premiering at New York Comic Con
Will we hear Chris Pratt say, "It's-a me!"
The live-action Super Mario movie is an infamous example of how bad video game adaptations can turn. Fortunately, everyone's favorite plumber is getting another shot at the big screen with Illumination's upcoming Mario movie, starring Chris Pratt as the titular character. Not much else is known about the project at this point, but that's all set to change now that we know when we're getting a teaser trailer for the film.
The Trailer Premieres on October 6
San Diego Comic Con may have already come and gone with a slew of announcements from the likes of Marvel and DC, but the good times don't stop rolling yet. New York Comic Con is right around the corner, so expect more movie news to drop when that event takes place.
One announcement we know will occur will be the release of the Mario movie teaser trailer. It's set to come out on October 6 at 4:00 p.m. ET. It makes sense for the trailer to premiere at this time, seeing how the movie has a release date of April 7, 2023. That allows for roughly six months of promotional time, and there's bound to be a ton of it.
In addition to Chris Pratt as Mario, the movie will also star Anya Taylor-Joy as Princess Peach, Charlie Day as Luigi, Seth Rogen as Donkey Kong, Jack Black as Bowser, and Keegan-Michael Key as Toad.
What do you hope to see in the upcoming trailer?
