Boy Stabbed By Gang While Playing Counterstrike, Survives
When real life is worse than your war game!
Have you ever left your house, expecting to have a totally normal day, but found yourself in a worst case scenario? That's what happened to Xiao Wei, a young gamer who just wanted to play a few games with his friend at an Internet Cafe. Easy, right? What transpired is not only a miracle of modern medicine, but also a super-hero level recovery from a wound so disgusting you have to see it to believe it. Xiao Wei will never forget this day...and you probably won't either after reading about it.
Meet Xiao Wei
Meet our protagonist Xiao Wei. He was just a normal teenage boy who lived in China, loved video games and got good grades. He was hanging out with his best friend, Huang, for a typical day of gaming. But all of that was about to change when they decided to go to an Internet Cafe.
The Scene Of The Crime
Ah, the internet cafe. Where game lovers gather together to sip coffee and play games until they black out on both. These cafe's are usually peaceful - some might even allege boring - places. But on this day, this internet cafe in China was about to become more like the scene of an unhinged video game sequence.
Xiao Wei went to the Internet Cafe with Huang to play their favorite game, Counter-Strike. Counter-Strike is a multiplayer, first-person shooter game where teams of terrorists battle try to carry out terror acts (while counter-terrorists fight them). Hopefully, the violence in this game, at least even unconsciously, prepared them for what was coming.
A Fight Erupts
No witnesses seem to be able to agree on how the fight initially began, although all can agree it was over something small and stupid. On one side, there are accusations of Xiao Wei and Huang "cheating." But there's also mounds of evidence pointing to a gang of kids simply approached Xiao and Huang and telling them they "had to install certain software" in order to win the game. When Xiao refused, all hell broke loose.
