These Disturbing 'Five Nights At Freddy's' Facts Make the Game Even Scarier
Who knew the already terrifying 'Five Night's At Freddy's' could get scarier? There are many little details within the game that add so much more horror to the lore of the game. Buckle in for this one.
The Animatronics Will Stare At The Camera
In the first FNAF the animatronics are viewed through a series of cameras. Every once in awhile the player will click on a camera feed and the animatronics will be looking right back at them.
Newspaper Clippings Are About Missing Children
The newspaper clippings on the wall tell the player what happened to the missing children. The clippings read: Two local children were reportedly lured into a back room during the late hours operation at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza on the night of June 26th. While video surveillance identified the man responsible and led to his capture the following morning, the children themselves were never found and are presumed dead. Police think that the suspects dressed as a company mascot to earn the children's trust." Players later learn that the actual killer was Purple Guy, meaning the man arrested for the murders was innocent.
The Creator Is Terrified Of Bonnie
FNAF creator Scott Cawthorn has publicly addressed his fear of the character Bonnie in the game. In his words, " I had several nightmares actually. I woke up and thought Bonnie was in my closet once. I was scared to death." We can agree with him on that.
Handprints On Freddy's Face
There is speculation amongst fans who the handprint belongs to. One leading theory suggests it is Phone Guy's. The print is more visible with a green overlay. No matter who's hand it is, we are glad it's not ours.
